Core Values

Core values are the principles that are important in your life. They define who you are and how you live your life. At The Well, our core values are:

  1. Real | We recognize that we are real people working through real problems. With the help of God, we commit to being real about ourselves, our relationship with others, and our relationship with God.

  2. Relevant | All people need Jesus. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, we commit to connecting the Biblical teachings to everyday life.
    • Scriptural Support: 1 Corinthians 9:19-23; Matthew 28:16-20
  3. Relational | Being made in the image of God, we celebrate the diversity to which God has created each of us uniquely. We commit to being a unified community of servants that are being stewards of the spiritual gifts that are given to each of us.
    • Scriptural Support: Psalm 139: 13-16, 1 Corinthians 12; John 13:34-35
  4. Revolutionary | God has a plan for each one of our lives – a plan to grow us into the people that God created us to be. When we encounter Jesus Christ, we are changed forever. We commit to being open to change so that God is able to transform us and the community in which we live.

  5. Reaching Out | We serve others by meeting their needs whenever we can. We are committed to showing God’s love in practical ways to have a positive impact on the community. We are also committed to being intentional to seek people who are not yet part of a relationship with Jesus Christ.
